Center for Global Development: Evaluation of Impact

This Arabella Analytical Report examines the operations and programmatic impact of the Center for Global Development (CGD) at its five-year anniversary. Our team of leading evaluators studied this DC-based think tank in-depth, conducting over 150 interviews and analyzing the results of a customized survey of more than 1,400 users of the organization’s research products. Arabella Advisors’ findings bolstered the organization’s strategy and informed the funders’ continued support.

Green Design and Practice in the
Development of Buildings and Neighborhoods

This report provides an overview of the green building landscape, including a discussion of current trends and a summary of funder activity. It is the product of dozens of interviews of experts in the field and funders of green building projects as well as a review of literature relating to green building. The report served as a background document for a convening of the Funders’ Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities, an affinity group of philanthropic leaders interested in supporting organizations that promote sound development and growth policies.
